KGAP+ Batch6 – India Challenge –2021/10/11

KGAP+ (Keihanna Global Acceleration Program Plus) will hold a preliminary round in India for Batch 6.

KGAP+ is a startup support program that attracts promising startups from Japan and abroad with the goal of conducting PoC and pilot tests in collaboration with large Japanese enterprises as well as overseas expansion. So far, 63 startups from 9 countries have participated in the program, and 83% of startups in Batch 1 to 4 have been able to implement PoC or enter into collaborative discussions with the program’s support.

The “India Challenge” is a stage for candidates from India, recommended by KGAP+ global partner organizations: CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) and NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies). The startups will pitch their innovative technologies and services to take part in the Batch 6.

  • In March 2021, NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies), ATR, and XBorder Innovations, Inc. In March 2021, NASSCOM, ATR, and XBorder Innovations signed a MOU to enhance the global innovation ecosystem through collaboration, such as ATR and XBI supporting open innovation between Indian startups participating in NASSCOM’s DeepTech Club 2.0 and Japanese companies.   • CII, India’s premier business association, and ATR signed a memorandum of understanding that avails further collaboration on innovation issues in January of 2020. For more information, click here.

        Technology-driven solution to the problem of crop residue incineration, using AI to track waste biomass and work with farmers to collect and purchase it.
