Experiencing the Measurement of Brain Functions/ Introductory Course

When trying to understand i-Brain x ICT, it is important to learn a measurement technique of brain activity, a core technique to support the i-Brain x ICT. A series of introductory course work offers opportunities for practical experience to operate devices for measuring brain functions, including MRI or NIRS, optical topography, to engineers and researchers who haven’t had a chance to operate them. The course also outlines the new possibilities of the i-Brain x ICT, taking advantage of the Keihanna area that embraces ① researchers of brain science playing a vital role at the frontline of their fields, ② specialists with high-level imaging and image analysis techniques, and ③ cutting-edge measurement devices.
