KGAP+ DAY – Batch8 DEMO-DAY –2023/02/01

KGAP+ (Keihanna Global Acceleration Program Plus) will hold DEMO-DAY for Batch 8.

The 21 companies from 10 countries that participated in the 8th cohort of the program, which started on October 18, have been working as hard as they can on mentoring, an unveiling event, approaching Japanese enterprises, and proposing PoC and collaborations, despite the difficulties of online implementation. At the Demo-Day, the finale of the program, they will present results and learnings, as well as make passionate live pitches from around the world, in search of new partners and customers. We hope you can join us!

Supporting overseas expansion through the Keihanna Science City as a hub is another feature of KGAP+. Overseas Special Programs for the Batch 8 will be held in Munich, Germany, Bavaria, in collaboration with KGAP+ global partners Bavarian Delegation to Japan and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs Invest in Bavaria. The DEMO-DAY will introduce the program and participating companies.

      Helping manufacturers elevate human performance and production operations using AI-powered vision system.
    3. German Bionic (Bavaria, Germany)
      Building robotic exoskeleton(aka. Power Suits) for the industrial/logistics field. Our Cray X power suit features connected capability to provide measurable productivity enhancement and secure a safer workspace.
    4. KEWAZO (Bavaria, Germany)
      A construction robotics startup who developed robotic systems that automate material flow on construction sites, enabling new digital services. In the initial $50B scaffolding market, we solve
      industry challenges like labor shortage, low productivity, and poor safety rates.

    1. Solaires Entreprises (Canada)
      Capture the sun’s energy from anywhere through new materials and technology.
    2. fabula (Japan)
      A technology that has developed a new material made from 100% food waste by drying, pulverization and hot pressing. The technology can be applied, not only to food waste but also to waste from various industries.
    3. Solutum Technologies Ltd (Israel)
      Developed a new plastic material that dissolves in water at room temperature after a pre-determined dissolution delay time and biodegrades into H2O, CO2, and biomass without leaving microplastics or toxic residues.
    4. EARTH CREATE (Japan)
      Products are being developed with a new material that uses calcium carbonate as its main raw material (Stone-Sheet®), which can significantly reduce CO2 emissions on an LCA basis, contributing to the prevention of global warming.

    1. EpiGuard AS (Norway)
      To protect both healthcare professionals and patients, the Norwegian company EpiGuard developed the EpiShuttle – a reusable, hardtop, single-patient transport and isolation unit.
      The EpiShuttle is a single-patient isolation and transport system, designed to provide maximum patient safety and comfort while allowing critical care and treatment to be performed. It can protect the environment from an infected patient or protect a vulnerable patient from a contaminated environment.
    2. Cardiokol Ltd (Israel)
      Developed a remote monitoring and screening method using voice-based markers that enables large-scale, long-term prevention of stroke and chronic complications in at-risk populations.
    3. SG AITek (Taiwan)
      Simply smile at the camera and essential vital signs that are useful for health management and medical care will be detected by the application of a well-versed integration of medical care and computer vision.
    4. Phare Labs (U.K.)
      A new type of alarm, using smoke and air quality sensors to make your home a safer, healthier place to live.
    5. Revive Innovations+ (U.K.)
      Developing a pre-loaded injection device that administers life-saving adrenaline, while utilizing a compact and patient centric form-factor.
    6. Zilia (Canada)
      Non-invasive imaging, spectroscopy and AI to assess biomarkers in the eye, to save sight and improve health.。
    7. COGNITEE (Japan)
      Provides analysis service that visualizes sales talk in numerical and graphical form using AI and provides objective feedback to increase conviction in instruction and self-learning ability, thereby achieving effective bottom-up improvement of the team.
