KGAP+ Batch7 -India Challenge with CII-2022/04/15

KGAP+ (Keihanna Global Acceleration Program Plus) will hold a selection pitch webinar for Batch 7 in collaboration with CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) which is India’s premier business association.

KGAP+ is a startup support program for promising startups from Japan and abroad. Startups pursue collaboration with large Japanese enterprises as well as overseas expansion. So far, 79 startups from 10 countries have participated in the Batch 1 to 6, and 80% of the startups have been able to implement PoC or enter into collaborative discussions with the program’s support.

India is continuing its phenomenal growth, with 2,250 tech startups founded and 42 unicorns in 2021. Deep-tech startups with advanced and innovative technologies have been participating from India, an IT powerhouse. At this event, CII will introduce startup ecosystem in India, and the startups pursuing to explore the Japanese market will make passionate pitches.

  • CII, India’s premier business association, and ATR signed a memorandum of understanding that avails further collaboration on innovation issues in January of 2020. For more information, click here.
