[Online] KGAP+ North America Challenge2020/10/16
KGAP+ (Keihanna Global Acceleration Program Plus) is carrying out Batch 4 from this coming November to February. KGAP+, a startup acceleration program in Keihanna Science City, is a key component of Kyoto Ecosystem supported by the government as one of the leading startup cities.
As with the previous batches, promising startups/SMEs are coming from across the world with the goal of securing partnerships with Japanese major companies and accomplishing PoCs/pilot tests with them.
“North America Challenge” is a stage for the candidates from Canad and U.S.A. Innovative technologies and services are presented by companies at the recommendation of KGAP+ global partners: NRC-IRAP (National Research Council of Canada – Industrial Research Assistance Program) and ITPC (International Technology Partnership Center). Not only pitching, but Mr. Nick Ushio, an expert on international business development based in Silicon Valley and Tokyo delivers insights into COVID-19 impact in Silicon Valley. *About KGAP+ Batch 4
*NRC and ATR signed a memorandum of understanding in April of 2019, with attendance of Prime Ministers of both countries. Based on the MoU, collaborative activities are ongoing.
