Global Startup Pitch (KGAP+ Batch7) in Kyoto – QUESTION2022/07/05

KGAP+ (Keihanna Global Acceleration Program Plus) and partner institutions in Kyoto will hold a collaborative pitch event.

Seven startups from Batch7 (the 7th cohort, May 10 – August 31), which are working on collaboration and PoC with Japanese companies and others, will take the stage. These global startups will showcase their products and services that utilize sensing, IoT, food tech, agri-tech, and AI to realize a smart and sustainable society.

This will be a hybrid event held at QUESTION, a co-creation space in Kyoto, and online. We look forward to seeing everyone interested in working with startups!

      Combining deep battery knowledge with artificial intelligence, Twaice provides predictive analytics software that optimizes development and operation of lithium-ion batteries.

      AMBROSIA provides enzyme-based platform that enables to convert the juice’s high-calorie, obesity-promoting sugars into rare, practically no-calorie sugars, such as Allulose.

      Funfo developed a cloud-based management application for restaurants that not only takes orders, but also edits menus, performs accounting, and analyzes data, leading to higher customer spend, lower labor costs, and reduced risk of COVID-19 infection.

      Impensus Electronics provides technologically driven IoT based products and solutions for post harvest management, which are modular solutions in 2 brands where – IMPact Grow helps to maintain proper ambiance, less water consumption and precision nutrients for cultivation and brand IMPact Fresh helps decentralize storage and increase shelf life by 1.5 to 2 times.

      DyeMansion’s Additive Manufacturing finishing systems turn 3D-printed raw parts into high-value products. From perfect fit eyewear to personalized car interiors, their technology makes 3D-printed products for everyday life.

      Pontosense leverages advanced sensing and AI to allow objects and systems, like cars, to become human-aware: presence, movement, vital signs, and identification.
